AlShallal Theme Park began as a vision in 2005, when a group of Saudi entrepreneurs and entertainment enthusiasts envisioned creating a world-class destination that would bring joy to families while celebrating the rich cultural heritage of the Kingdom.

Our founders recognized the need for a premier entertainment venue that combined thrilling attractions with cultural authenticity, set against the stunning backdrop of Saudi Arabia's Red Sea coast.

The Vision Begins

Initial concept development and feasibility studies for a world-class theme park on Saudi Arabia's Red Sea coast.

2008

Construction Commences

Groundbreaking ceremony and start of construction on the 150-acre site, incorporating sustainable design principles.

2010

Grand Opening

AlShallal Theme Park officially opens to the public with 25 attractions across 5 themed zones, welcoming 500,000 guests in the first year.

2014

Expansion Phase One

Addition of the "Arabian Nights" zone and 10 new attractions, increasing park capacity by 40% and introducing innovative water-based rides.

2018

Sustainability Recognition

Received the Saudi Green Initiative Award for sustainable operations and environmental conservation efforts.

Major Renovation
